Overview

The Complete Panchang API provides detailed Hindu calendar and Panchang information for a specified date, time, and geographical location. It returns sunrise and sunset times, weekday details, lunar month, Ritu (season), Aayanam, Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, Karana, and traditional year information, including Saka Salivahana and Vikram Chaitradi year names and numbers.

To use the API, send a POST request with the year, month, date, hours, minutes, seconds, latitude, longitude, and timezone offset of the location. You can also provide optional configuration settings to select the Ayanamsha, language of the response, and observation point for planetary calculations.

The API returns structured JSON data, including the names and numbers of Panchang elements, their relevant start or completion times, and percentage information where available. Responses can be requested in supported languages such as English, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and others. This makes the API suitable for integrating traditional Hindu calendar information into astrology applications, Panchang websites, and calendar tools.

Note: The Complete Panchang API endpoint is not available under the Free package. Please upgrade to an eligible paid package to access this endpoint.
