Kaala Bala part in Shad Bala
Calculate Kaala Bala (temporal strength), one of the six components of Shadbala in Vedic astrology. Retrieve the total Kaala Bala and its individual components for the seven classical planets to build detailed planetary strength analysis and horoscope interpretation features.
Overview
The Kaala Bala API calculates the temporal strength of the seven classical planets as part of the traditional Vedic astrology Shadbala system. Kaala Bala evaluates planetary strength based on time-related factors, including Natonnata Bala, Paksha Bala, Tribhaga Bala, Abda Bala, Maasa Bala, Vaara Bala, Hora Bala, Aayana Bala, and Yuddha Bala.
The API returns the total Kaala Bala for each planet, along with its individual components and the corresponding strength in Rupas. The response includes results for the Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn. Developers can use this data to display detailed planetary strength breakdowns and integrate temporal strength calculations into Vedic astrology applications.
To calculate Kaala Bala, provide the birth year, month, date, time, latitude, longitude, and timezone. Optional configuration settings allow you to select an Ayanamsha, such as Lahiri or Sayana, and choose a geocentric or topocentric observation point. The API returns structured JSON data that can be integrated into websites, mobile applications, and Vedic astrology software.
